Virginia Beach Fishing report for 7-26-22
My summer charter season is off to a great start and I have a few dates available in July. There are lots of different kinds of fish around to catch and I can get you out there to catch them.
The dates I have available in July are 8th, 12th, 15th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 24th, 25th, 28th, 29th, 31st. We will have inshore and nearshore fishing all of July for cobia, drum, spades, sheeps, triggers, flounder, sea bass, sharks, etc.
Later in the month I will be booking trips to go to the wrecks for sea bass, flounder, and triggers, then we fish fads for mahi. That trip is $1800 plus tip. All my trips can take up to 6 people. I can also promise on any trip that you book with Matador Charters, ribbonfish will not be a target species. Text me to 7577496008
Today was a fun group. They wanted only to have a good time and catch a couple fish. We saw 13, hooked 3, caught 2.... they had a little bit of lock jaw then the wind and tide pushed em down- but not before we got this nice one. Biggest fish these guys ever seen. Virginia release citation, but skinny as heck and fought em real hard. Good first sightfishing trip of the year. Its gonna be a great summer, and we are already off to a great start.
